Professional Automotive Career Training (PACT)

Honda is one of today’s most popular automotive brands. Our Associate in Science degree in Honda Automotive Technology is a partnership with the Professional Automotive Career Training (PACT) program of American Honda. The PACT program provides you with the technical skills and training to become a service department professional specializing in maintenance and repair of Honda and Acura automobiles.

Our two-year degree program will set you on the path to being a Honda Master Technician. Your training will include hands-on lab work, course work that explores automotive theory and engine repair, general education courses, and an internship working at a Honda/Acura dealership. Our “live work” approach let’s you apply skills and build knowledge by performing work on real vehicles needing repair. An experienced faculty guides your high-tech training, and you will receive plenty of individual instruction with our small class size.

As a graduate, you will be prepared to take the Automotive Serve Excellence (ASE) technician certification exam.

Job Placement: Our PACT program trains you for direct employment with Honda/Acura. Our faculty works with Honda to assist students find appropriate jobs.

**Seven Internship credit hours total must be earned in order to graduate.
To qualify for a Honda dealership placement, a student must successfully complete all program coursework leading up to each of the internship courses. A 2.0 GPA is required for Internship placement.
