Mackenzie enrolled in Nashua Community College with her sights set on a career in education. She began taking classes while still a student at Merrimack High School, joining the college full-time in fall 2015. Mackenzie soon immersed herself in campus life; winning recognition for her engagement and dedication with the Presidents’ Leadership Award in April 2017.
Graduating in May 2017 with her Educator Preparation Associates Degree and School Aged Para-Educator II Certificate, Mackenzie has served as Student Senate President, student ambassador, orientation leader and a member of both the graduation planning committee and event committee for Swing into Spring.
Mackenzie began working in campus admissions as a clerk in January 2017 and plans to stay on board after graduation. For fall 2017, she will continue working toward her Bachelor’s at Granite State College. Mackenzie said her time with NCC got her interested in a career in higher education.
