Professor Jennifer Tripp has been teaching at Nashua Community College since 2007. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English/Journalism from the University of New Hampshire and worked as a newspaper reporter for four years before deciding to go back to school to become a teacher. After earning her Master of Arts in Teaching from UNH, she taught English at Alvirne High School in Hudson, NH. She is currently the Arts, Humanities, Communications & Design Department Chair at NCC.

Professor Tripp teaches a variety of writing, literature, and humanities courses. She loves to talk about books, ethics, and current events in her classes. She especially loves the dynamic between older and younger students that tends to occur at community college.

Something interesting about Prof. Tripp is that she grew up in a tiny little NH town where there wasn’t even a stoplight. There were 37 students in her high school senior class!
