Don’t Wait to Start Your College Career! Students still currently enrolled in high school can find a bigger world of academic challenges at NCC. No need to put off the start of your college journey — we’re ready for you today!

Apply the credits toward a degree at NCC or transfer earned credits to another college. The credit you earn now will wait for you. If your high school allows, you may be able to use the credits to fulfill high school requirements and college requirements simultaneously.

Complete highly transferable courses that most college degree programs require. Explore a course in a major you are seriously considering for your future.

College coursework stands out on a freshman college application and demonstrates that you have challenged yourself academically.

Early College may compress the time it takes to complete high school and the first two years of college.

  • Earn college credits at a fraction of the cost of a four-year university.
  • Early College credits are offered at a 50 percent discount compared with regular NCC credits.
  • Through a scholarship program funded by the State of NH, all eligible high school students* can take up to two tuition-free courses per academic year.  Courses are no longer limited to STEM/CTE areas.

*Students must be NH residents and be high school sophomores, juniors or seniors or homeschool students 15 years old and older.

Early College – On Campus

Early College on a College Campus invites New Hampshire high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors as well as home-schooled students age 15 and older to take regular college classes alongside college students on the NCC campus! With guidance from NCC advisors, students select general education courses or take a series of courses in a specific curriculum.

All early college students are required to register for classes with an early college advisor. Also, any early college student wishing to add or drop a course must consult with an early college advisor.

The award of high school credit for college coursework is arranged through a students’ school and does not involve the college. Please see your high school guidance counselor for pre-approval of dual-enrollment credit.
