The Associate in Arts Degree in History & Social Sciences has been developed to provide the first two years of preparation for a student wishing to complete a bachelor degree with a major in history, political science, anthropology or sociology.
The Liberal Arts Degree in History and Social Sciences may be especially appropriate for students who plan to pursue careers in the fields of education, government, historic preservation, public history, or law. Students are encouraged to work closely with their academic advisor while at NCC. An early decision by a student as to the four-year college/university to which he/she plans to transfer will make the advising process more effective.
