The 25 credit Collision Repair Certificate Program will prepare students for entry-level positions in the collision repair industry. Students will learn through various theory and hands-on activities including, but not limited to: Safety, sheet metal repair, bolted panel removal and replacement, welding, surface preparation, spray gun use, application of paint finishes, basic electrical theory, and HVAC operation and service.

Upon the completion of the degree in Collision Repair Technology, graduates will be able to:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and repair various automotive systems using ASE guidelines.
- Use technology and basic scientific principles for research and problem solving.
- Employ effective written and oral communication skills.
- Employ effective technical writing skills.
- Utilize mathematical logic and analysis for problem solving.
- Understand the connections between individuals and society.
- Have the ability to achieve ASE Master Certification.
- Perform reading skills at a college level.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
In addition, the graduate will be able to demonstrate competency in the general education outcomes.
In addition to the general admission requirements, Collision Repair Technology applicants should be aware of the following criteria:
- A minimum of one year of high school Algebra I is recommended.
- Basic skills in written English are required.
- A basic automotive tool kit and roll cabinet are required. Accepted students needing tools may purchase tool kits at a college-sponsored Tool Day in August at a substantial discount.
- Students are expected to possess a good work ethic and a strong desire to learn.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
