Nashua Community College was proud to sponsor the Nashua Multicultural Festival this past weekend!
Admissions Director Melba Juez-Perrone and Financial Aid rep. Maricielo Jimenez participated in the event, along with Multicultural Engagement Department head Prof. Elizabeth Berry and student volunteers.
“Nashua’s Multicultural Festival brought the world to Greeley Park on Saturday afternoon,” said Melba, “There were dancers and singers from Bolivia, Colombia, Nepal, China, and India just to name a few. There was Brazilian food, the buzz of many foreign languages could be heard around the park, and a charming procession of very friendly and curious dogs completed the lively scene. Mayor Jim Donchess opened the event and I had the pleasure to greet the audience and welcome everyone to our NCC table.”
