Scholarship Donations

If you would like to make a donation to one of the NCC Scholarship Funds listed below please select ‘CCNH Foundation’.  This will lead you to the Community Colleges of New Hampshire Foundation page from which you can link to the donation page. 

Through the CCNH Foundation you may make donations specific to any of the seven community colleges, to a specific fund, or to where it is needed most. 

In order to designate either a specific fund or Nashua Community College you will need to select 'Designate My Gift' then select 'Other Named Fund' and then type in the fund name in 'Other, Please Specify'.

Brandon Masterson Automotive Technology Tool Scholarship

The Brandon Masterson Automotive Technology Tool Scholarship is in memory of NCC Automotive Technology Student, Brandon Masterson, who passed away in 2013 just months before his graduation.

During his life, Brandon was a student and person to be emulated.  The scholarship will be awarded to two students each Fall semester.  CLICK HERE.

Carl D. Perkins Single Parent/Displaced Homemaker Financial Assistance Program

The Single Parent and Displaced Homemaker Program is a program run by Nashua Community College to assist financially disadvantaged single parents, displaced homemakers, and single pregnant women with the cost of attending our college in preparation for high skill, high wage, or high demand occupations in current or emerging professions.

The Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006 provides grant funding for this program.  Awards will vary based on availability of funds.


Early Childhood Education Tuition Assistance

The Community College System of New Hampshire, in partnership with the Division for Children, Youth, and Families (DHHS), is able to provide tuition assistance to eligible individuals.  Persons who are eligible must be:

  • Currently employed, at least part-time, in a NH-licensed (or license-exempt) early childhood program, or a licensed family child care program,

  • and must be taking early childhood courses through CCSNH.

  • NH residents are eligible for full awards, while out of state students are only eligible for partial awards.

Henderson Business Scholarship

The Henderson Scholarship Fund was established to benefit NH students. Applicants should be in their second year of Nashua Community College and matriculated in a Business related major. Applicants must be full-time and must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, as evidenced by current transcripts which the student should submit with their application. Print Application Here.

Human Services/Community Social Services Scholarship

The NH Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Developmental Services through a cooperative agreement with the Community College System of NH (CCSNH), offers grants to students as tuition reimbursement towards a Community Social Services/Human Services Certificate at some of NH’s community college. The grants are available to any employee, family member or individual affiliated with one of ten area agencies and their vendors. Applications are available at any of the community colleges, and the students must have the support of an area agency representative. For information on this scholarship, CLICK HERE.

2017-2018 Gene Haas Scholarship for Recent High School Graduates

This scholarship is funded through a grant by the Gene Haas Foundation to support NCC machine tool students in achieving a degree.  Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to recent high school graduates entering an eligible machine based training program at NCC.  CLICK HERE.

2017-2018 Gene Haas Scholarship for Returning Students

This scholarship is funded through a grant by the Gene Haas Foundation to support NCC machine tool students in achieving a degree.  Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to returning students enrolled in an eligible machine based training program at NCC.  CLICK HERE.

NCC Honors Book Award Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes four 11th grade students, one each from Alvirne High School,  Nashua North High School, Nashua South High School, and Souhegan High School, who have shown exemplary critical thinking skills, creativity, a sincere love for learning, and improved academic achievement.  The student must achieve a high school CGPA of 3.2 and be nominated by the guidance counselor of the respective high school.  The student will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship for tuition and fees at NCC contingent upon acceptance into the NCC Honors Program the Fall semester after high school graduation and full time enrollment at NCC.

NCC Honors Senior Award Scholarship

New Hampshire High School Valedictorian Scholarship

A one year tuition only scholarship, up to a maximum of 32 credits, will be awarded to designated New Hampshire high school valedictorians, based on a cumulative grade point average, from a New Hampshire NEASC accredited institution. The one year will be defined as the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters, with a start date of any of the three and applied only within the one year from the time of first semester of matriculation.  The recipient must enroll as a matriculated student within 15 months from the time of secondary school graduation. New Hampshire Scholars

The NH Scholars award at Nashua Community College is a $500 tuition waiver available to High School Students who have graduated from a participating NH Scholar High School (see nhscholars.org for a list of high schools) and who have completed the Core Course of Study upon graduation. NCC may grant up to twelve (12) $500 NH Scholar awards. Application available here.

Rapid Manufacturing Group Scholarship

This scholarship is intended to assist students in achieving competency in the metal working industry.  Five $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to full time sophomore students. The scholarship is awarded based on faculty recommendation, CGPA, and essay.  Applications are available now for the 2017-2018 Aid Year.

Robert Lawton Memorial Scholarship

The Robert Lawton Memorial Scholarship fund is established to assist part or full-time students in a degree granting Human Services program at Nashua Community College.  The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded annually.  Deadline for application is December 1. Click Here for the application.

Swing Into Spring Scholarship

The Swing into Spring Scholarships are made available through the fundraising efforts of the Nashua Community College Advisory Board. The board supports the value of higher education and began the scholarships to assist students in achieving an education at NCC.  Three scholarships are awarded at the Swing Into Spring event held each Spring.  Typically applications become available early February.

Orphans of Veterans Scholarship

Residents of New Hampshire whose veteran parent died as a result of active service in the armed services of the United States, or whose parent has since died from a service-connected disability may be eligible for this scholarship.  For more information, contact the Post Secondary Education Commission at (603) 271-2555.  Application is available at the NH Postsecondary Education Commission website under Financial Aid.
