Earn a Guaranteed Interview
The Microelectronics Boot Camp at Nashua Community College prepares students for entry-level ribbon/wire bonding and manual epoxy dispense and die attach positions at local companies. On successful completion of this non-credit program, students are guaranteed an interview with the boot camp’s founding partner, BAE Systems.
This program was designed to both meet industry demands, and teach students basic military standards and assembly techniques for radio frequency (RF) and microwave electronic (MW) assemblies. The skills are taught with visual aids, lecture, and hands-on practice using equipment common to microelectronics assembly techniques.
Each Boot Camp runs 10 weeks for 40 hours per week. The cost is $5,500, and sessions run throughout the year.
Next Boot Camp begins: Monday Nov. 18, 2024
Curriculum
- > Wire and ribbon bonding, 188 hours of lecture and lab
- > Manual epoxy dispense and die attach, 188 hours of lecture and lab
- > 24 hours non-credit lean course resulting in a White Belt certificate
