Our Workforce Development Program offers multiple short term career-oriented programs. These programs are typically less than 16 weeks long, and are designed with the assistance of local businesses and industries to help equip individuals with the essential skills needed to be successful in these careers.

For Individuals
Boot Camps and Non-Credit Programs
Move Your Career Ahead With NCC! Our career training programs are not tied to the academic calendar: the start of your next career could be starting next week!
To register for these courses, follow these steps:
- Submit the Non-Credit Registration Form
- When prompted for course information, enter the name of the boot camp you wish to register for.
- Contact the NCC Bursars office ([email protected], or 603-578-8902) to arrange payment.
- Please note that financial aid cannot be used with workforce development courses at this time.
- Contact either Jon Mason or Danielle Pinkerton (listed above) to confirm your registration is complete.
Microelectronics Boot Camp
On successful completion of this non-credit program, students are guaranteed an interview with the boot camp’s founding partner, BAE Systems
Medical Interpreter Training: Spanish – English
This is a self-paced, interactive program that can position you for success in a highly in-demand medical field. Medtalk Training is licensed by the New Hampshire Department of Education as a post secondary education program defined in RSA 188-G:1-10 License # MEWI – 161
Precision Manufacturing Boot Camp
This free, 10-week Boot Camp covers basic machining, along with an introduction to Mastercam, Solidworks and G and M Code programming. Students also learn basic CNC Mill and Lathe setup, operation, and programming.
Medical Assistant Apprentice Program
This is a paid job and career training. Over 2 years, you’ll complete 12 weeks of full-time, paid classroom instruction time at NCC, test for a national certification, start a full-time medical assistant position at one of our Primary Care or Specialty offices, and complete 3,600 on-the-job training hours with a mentor
Soldering Boot Camp
In the part-time, evening Soldering Boot Camp, students learn the skills necessary to earn the nationally recognized credential, J-Standard 001 in just 7 weeks. No experience necessary!
MATH090
Get College and Career Ready with MATH090 this summer. This non-credit class can help you prepare for college level math classes required by your degree or certificate program.
Youth and Teen Summer Camps

Earn Your Six Sigma White Belt in Lean Manufacturing
Lean Manufacturing skills are perfect for corporate trainings in the manufacturing and medical industries. The non-credit training program includes hands-on learning and lectures delivered by experienced faculty members.
Training ends with a test that earns participants their White Belt in Lean Manufacturing.
Training to suit your needs
At NCC, Lean Manufacturing training can be compacted into an accelerated three-day course or adjusted based on the needs of participants. Our staff and faculty will work with you to deliver the best program for your employees.
Take your training further
Training hours are also transferable into credited courses at NCC, such as the “Lean and Green” class in our Precision Manufacturing department.

Credit for Prior Learning
Members of your team may use prior learning toward a college credential.
This learning may be composed of industry certifications, work experience, employer training programs, independent study, non-credit courses, volunteer or community service, or non-college courses or seminars.
