UPDATE YOUR SKILLS WITH AN ADVANCED MASTERCAM CLASS AT NASHUA COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Prerequisite
Student must have prior use or knowledge of basic skills using Mastercam software, instructor may waive prerequisite.
Course will cover the following tool path types and theories:
- 3D contouring
- Use of transforming tool paths
- Sub programming
- Using rotary head 4th axis indexing
- Axis substitution 4th axis revolving
- Intro into 5th axis machining
- 3+2 machining set up
- Tool paths for 3+2
- Strategies to machine complex parts
- Understand the WCS, and how to use it
- Surface model machining
- Sweeping tool paths
- Thread milling
- Setting planes
