Writing the Stories That Matter: Creative Writing Course
An 8-Week Non-Credit Creative Writing Workshop
Everyone has stories worth telling. Sometimes they are found in life-changing events. More often, they are hidden in ordinary moments—a family gathering, a childhood home, an unforgettable conversation or a memory that continues to call for our attention.
In this engaging and supportive workshop, you will draw inspiration from your memories, relationships, meaningful places and everyday experiences. Through short readings, lively discussions, guided exercises and encouraging feedback, you will learn practical techniques used in memoir, personal essays and fiction inspired by real life.
Perhaps you have always wanted to write a memoir, preserve stories for your family, begin a novel or simply become a more confident and expressive writer. This course will help you move from “I have an idea” to vivid scenes, memorable characters and stories with genuine emotional impact.
You do not need to consider yourself a writer to participate. You only need curiosity, a willingness to experiment and an interest in discovering the stories only you can tell.
