Newly accepted students are required to attend an Orientation session.
Orientations are held regularly throughout the year and are held even more frequently as the semester approaches. Students are welcome to attend more than one style if you would like, however, all orientation opportunities cover the same key information.
If you have questions, or if none of the listed days and times work for you, please reach out to the Admissions Office at Email: [email protected] or Call (603) 578-8908.
- Orientation!
During Orientation, you will access and navigate NCC’s online platforms and apps. Please feel free to bring your own laptop and smart device, if you have one! You will learn where to find your class schedule, required books/supplies, on and off campus resources, and much more. There will be an opportunity to address any and all questions, as well as get your Student ID and parking pass. Newly accepted students are welcome to come alone or bring guests.
- Early College Orientation
The Early College Orientation is similar to other orientations, but it is for Early College (current high school) students only. It is an opportunity for new Early College students to meet one another and learn about NCC’s campus, resources, and online platforms.
- ESOL Orientation
The ESOL Orientation is held in partnership with the NCC Department of Multicultural Engagement. This Orientation is held with English Speakers of Other Languages in mind! There are bilingual staff available during these sessions to help answer questions.
- Self-Paced Online Orientation through Canvas
Canvas is the online teaching and learning platform students use to access their class information like your syllabus, homework, and assignments. We have created a Canvas Class for Orientation! It is set up as a self-paced class, with short Modules to view introducing you to the online platforms. All students, regardless of how they prefer to attend Orientation, are given access to this class shortly after they are accepted (as well as an email with instructions for setting up your Easy Login so you can access Canvas).
- Private Orientations
Please reach out to the Admissions Office at Email: [email protected] or Call (603) 578-8908 with your availability.
