Please sign up for an Orientation date below!

Students are welcome to attend more than one style if they would like, however, all orientation opportunities cover the same key information.

If you have questions, or if none of the listed days and times work for you, please email Carolyn at [email protected] to schedule a private Orientation Session.

New students are required to attend an Orientation session. During Orientation sessions, we go over how to login and navigate around the various online platforms used when you are a student here, as well as discuss online / on campus / and in-community resources available to all NCC students. Students also get their college ID and parking pass. Orientations are held regularly throughout the year and are held even more frequently as the semester approaches.

The ESOL Orientation is held in partnership with the NCC Department of Multicultural Engagement. This Orientation is held with English Speakers of Other Languages in mind! There are bilingual staff available during these sessions to help answer questions.

These orientations are specifically for “Early College” students – current high school students enrolled in courses at NCC.  Held once a semester just prior to the semester start date, these orientations give Early College students a chance to meet other high school students attending NCC! Students will also access NCC’s online platforms and acclimate to campus and college life!

Canvas is the online platform students use to access their class information like your assignments, syllabus, and homework. We have created a Canvas Class for Orientation! It is set up as a self-paced class, with short Modules to view introducing you to the online platforms. All students, regardless of how they prefer to attend Orientation, are given access to this class shortly after they are accepted (as well as an email with setting up your Easy Login).
