Nashua Community College uses the College Board Accuplacer to determine your skills in English and Math for course placement. Accuplacer is an untimed test taken in proctored sessions, either in-person, at NCC or remotely, from home.

It is free to take the test in person at NCC. There is a fee to test remotely with Meazure Learning’s Live+ Proctor Service.

Your Choice: Test at NCC or From Home (Remotely)

TO TEST AT NCC:

Fill out the form below and choose “In Person” and “Select an on-campus date” to take the Accuplacer at NCC. (FREE)

TO TEST AT HOME:

Fill out the form below and select “From Home (Remote Voucher will be sent )“. Your testing voucher and instructions will be sent from Accuplacer within 2 business days. Meazure Learning with ProctorU’s online proctoring platform will now be used for all Accuplacer remote testing. It is available anytime except Sunday evenings, between 7pm and midnight. There is a fee to test remotely.

All remote testers will be using the Live+ remote testing service through Proctor U. Students will be responsible for the Proctor Fee and the On-Demand testing fee. All fees will be collected by Proctor U when registering for a testing appointment.

Live+ Fees

Proctor Fee: $28

On-demand, take it now (<24h): + $8

On-demand, take it soon (>24h <72h): + $5

There will be no extra charge if the test is arranged more than 72 hours in advance.

Request Testing Accommodations

Students must self-identify a learning need that may require testing accommodations before taking the Accuplacer placement test.

To request accommodations, please submit the ACCUPLACER Testing Accommodations Request Form and complete the testing form below.

NOTE: The Accuplacer is an untimed test therefore you may take as long as you need. You have the option to complete sections of the test on a different day.
